Who we are

Information we collect
- Usage data: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — for example which pages are read, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, and how visitors arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies. We do not use this data to identify you personally.
- Preferences on your device: settings such as reading mode (Read / Learn), dark mode and audio speed are stored in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device.
- Emails you send us: if you contact us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.
Cookies and your choices
When you first visit, you can accept or decline analytics cookies. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off unless you accept. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing your browser’s site data. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Third parties
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — analytics. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare — hosting and security. Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
- Google Fonts — web fonts loaded from Google’s servers.
- Social media embeds — when a story includes an embedded post from X or Instagram, that service may collect data under its own policy.
